The story will also highlight the positives and how these restaurants and businesses adapt and pivot to the ever-changing environment and regulations. By the end of the story, I want readers to know that it has been highly challenging for the industry; however, the food and beverage industry is resilient.

The audience of this story will be readers who enjoy food and beverage and who have compassion for business owners in the current times. The audience will also most likely be people who respect and follow COVID protocols. This will shape the story’s content because I will highlight places that are doing a good job at following regulations and tips for great places to go and enjoy.

The core information from this story will come from general knowledge of working in the industry for ten years and from working in a restaurant throughout the entire pandemic. All other information will come from research and other articles with proper citation.

1st paragraph: The Never-Ending Restrictions
The 1st paragraph will discuss the ongoing and changing restrictions that restaurants have been closely following throughout the pandemic and discuss the challenges of these restrictions.
2nd paragraph: What Restaurants Are Doing To Adapt
Paragraph 2 will be about how restaurants are adapting and pivoting to the restrictions. It will discuss creative ways businesses are using to survive the pandemic and some of the business model changes taken to modify their operations to stay in business. This section will also highlight some Kamloops restaurants that are doing their best at following COVID protocols.
3rd paragraph: What’s Next?
This paragraph will discuss what’s next for local restaurants and what consumers can expect in the future of restaurants. This section will also talk about the wind-down of the pandemic as more people get vaccinated and the phase-out of the vaccine passports.

This paragraph will be about how resilient the restaurant industry is and how workers are still excited to go to work and enjoy what they do despite challenges thrown at them.
